We are working with California sawmills to expand the existing Wood Library at the Richmond Field Station (UC Berkeley).
To facilitate the use of local timber species in construction, their processing, drying, and mechanical characterization needs to be studied. The library contains high-quality lumber of all relevant local hardwood species for research purposes.
Get in touch if you need wood or want to donate logs or lumber.
